Afternoon in Ferrara

We walked around the old district of Ferrara this afternoon. We walked around and through the castle of the "monarch" family of the region. It was built in the 1300's. It has a moat and a drawbridge! Too cool! And a rampart for shooting arrows and little tiny windows also for shooting arrows. The main part is a museum that closed before we got there.
We had dinner at a place a bit off the tourist track. Everyone else was speaking Italian. I asked what was good and he recommended pumpkin ravioli! So I tried it. It was very enjoyable, I'm glad I did. But I don't think I'd pick it again.

  2. I thought for a second that Pistol Pete was on the wine glass, and I thought, "Did they bring their own wine glasses!?"
