St. Mark’s Basilica and Correr Museum

Here we are in St. Mark's. We  go to Mass in this church on Sunday. Crazy!
We also went to the Correr Museum. I forgot to get a picture.
Now for some gelato... today we are trying pistachio. (Yesterday we had strawberry and Hazelnut.)
We just walked all over Venice. We came across some beautiful churches and went inside and saw some remarkable Renaissance art... just hanging there in the church, free to enter and admire.
I had pistachio gelato and strawberry gelato. Greg had tiramisu gelato and coffee gelato. Next up, we will find someplace quiet for dinner.

  1. You are having a wonderful day! Those buildings are so beautiful inside! I'm glad you are in the pictures too... otherwise they would just be like postcard pics. And I have learned how to use this blog. I had just been refreshing it but if I was on a previous post nothing changed. I have to start from the basic blog link, then the new stuff comes up! Could you put the time of day on your pics? It would be nice to know when you are seeing new things.

  2. We're so glad you're enjoying all the delights of Venice. It's so surreal being there isn't it? Love the pics of your two happy faces. Nancy
